  15. MOUTHING FLOWERS SHIPS NEW FEATURES WITH TIMEFLIES FOR NEXTSTEP

  17. Seattle, WA, October 6th, 1994  - Mouthing Flowers announced today
  18. that it is now shipping a new upgrade of its popular time management
  19. application TimeFlies.
  20.  
  21. The latest release of TimeFlies is version 2.5 and is available to
  22. current TimeFlies users with no upgrade charge.  Version 2.5 sports
  23. new features including:
  24.  
  25.          -       Alarms that can issue UNIX shell commands.
  26.          -       Alarms that can be set to go off after a specified
  27.                  period of time.
  28.          -       A substantially revised alarms user interface.
  29.          -       A handy calendar.
  30.          -       The option to display a datepad in the icon.

  32. TimeFlies is a powerful, easy, and well-priced time management application for 
  33. NEXTSTEP-enabled computers.  TimeFlies' objective is to save you time and
  34.   money by helping you stay on time for meetings and other events.  TimeFlies 
  35. provides you with a flexible system of alarms, a female voice chime, and chimes
  36.   of your design

  38. With TimeFlies Alarms
  39.          Create alarms that:
  40.          -  play sounds,
  41.          -  send email,
  42.          -  issue a message panel on your screen,
  43.          -  execute a shell command,
  44.          -  or any combination of the above.
  45.          Set alarms to go off at:
  46.          -  a specific time of day,
  47.          -  day of the week,
  48.          -  date of the month,
  49.          -  a specific month,
  50.          -  any combination of the above,
  51.          -  or after a specified period of time.

  53. With TimeFlies Chimes
  54.          Set chimes to go off at any quarter hour.
  55.          Set a chime so that when it goes off it will:
  56.          -  tell you in a soothing female voice what time it is, or
  57.          -  play a sound.
  58.          -  on the hour, repeat a sound the same number of times
  59.             as the hour, like a cuckoo clock.

  61. TimeFlies has a stopwatch feature which enables you to time interesting
  62. events like phone calls, time spent on a project, or time spent
  63. calculating a spreadsheet.

  65. TimeFlies has a handy calendar for quick reference.

  67. TimeFlies requires NEXTSTEP 3.1 or greater.  TimeFlies ships as a
  68. multiple-architecture binary; that is, it runs on both Motorola-based
  69. NeXT hardware, qualified Intel-based systems, or on NEXTSTEP networks
  70. that mix Intel and Motorola hardware.

  72. TimeFlies is available on Internet archive servers (ftp.cs.orst.edu)
  73. as a demo that runs for one hour at a time.  You may enable the
  74. TimeFlies demo by obtaining a registration number from Mouthing
  75. Flowers for $29 or $19 for full-time students, seniors, and handicapped
  76. (prices subject to change).  Multi-user network rates are available.
